Invitations to join our Class Dojo have now been printed and distributed. However, if you would like another copy, or have any other queries about Class Dojo, please speak to a member of the team.
During our first half-term we will spend lots of time learning and following our class routines. This includes joining in with three carpet sessions every morning and afternoon: phonics, literacy and maths.
We've really got into the art of story telling this term! We've enjoyed listening to and re-telling a range of traditional tales including We're Going on a Bear Hunt, The Gingerbread Man, The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Billy Goats Gruff and Jack and the Beanstalk.
This term we are learning about nature, growing and changes. We will be incubating some hens' eggs in class and then taking care of the chicks that hatch from them. We are also learning about farm animals, mini beasts and plant life. Our key texts include What the Ladybird Heard, The Little Red Hen, Farmer Duck, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar and other stories by Eric Carle.
