WB 22.6.20 - F2

Hello F2, hope you have had a great week!
Don’t forget to check out the photos in the spiders folder to see what the children got up to in school, perhaps you could have a go at recreating any of the activities that you didn’t do.

Luckily, the weather is supposed to be nicer this week, so we are sticking with our minibeasts theme and hoping that we can get outside to try and find some bees this week!

We have been planting sunflowers at school and this week we are hoping to plant some bee and butterfly friendly wildflowers to attract them. Perhaps you could do some gardening or planting at home in the lovely weather?

Here are some bee activities for you to try too at home.
Have fun! Miss Smith and Mrs Pownall x

The Very Greedy Bee by Steve Smallman and Jack Tickle

Listen to this story before doing the activities this week!

The Very Busy Bee by Jack Tickle

Another bee story to listen to this week.

Can you write your own story about a bee and a journey it goes on? You could draw some pictures to go with it!

Can you draw or paint a bee and label it’s body parts?

Can you go for a walk and find some rocks/stones that you could paint or colour with felt tips to make it look like a bee?
