When writing a diary you need to include details about your day and as Mr Kanky you are going to include details about his day. I have put some pictures below to show things that you might want to write about as Mr Kranky.

Lesson 4 - Features of a Diary


This week we are going to have a go at writing a diary as if we were Mr Kranky, but before we write the diary entry we need to re-cap what the features of a diary are.

Lesson 3 - Interview


Imagine you are Mr Kranky and you are being interviewed by a TV presenter about what has happened at your house. 


Think about:

  • How you might feel?
  • What you might think?
  • What you might do?


Have a go an answering these questions as if you were Mr Kranky:


  1. What had you been before you found Grandma?
  2. What did you think when you saw Grandma?
  3. Were you cross with George?
  4. How will you use the extra big animals in the farm?
  5. What is your plan for George's medicine?

Read Chapter 10  and 11 or Watch the video below. 


Have a think about how Mr Kranky thinks about George's Medicine?


Can you come up with a list of different words to show how Mr Kranky feels about the Medicine? 



Create a word bank in your yellow book to show how Mr Kranky feels about George's Marvellous Medicine.
